Brian Gordon Sinclair, author of The Hemingway Monologues, is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada and holds a Master of Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Denver. He also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England, and at the National Film Board of Canada. Mr. Sinclair's seven play series, The Hemingway Monologues: An Epic Drama of Love, Genius and Eternity, has met with considerable critical acclaim, with the first five plays premiering at the Hemingway Days Festival in Key West, Florida. The sixth play, Sunset (originally titled, In Deadly Ernest), was commissioned by Museo Hemingway/Finca Vigia and had its world premiere at the Hemingway Colloquium in Havana, Cuba. The playwright is a dual citizen of Canada and Ireland. His other works include Easter Rising: The Last Words of Patrick Pearse, a recreation of the dramatic days in Dublin during the 1916 struggle for Irish freedom. This play is available as an audio book. A recipient of the Sir Tyrone Guthrie Award for Acting at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Mr. Sinclair has also received Awards of Distinction from Museo Hemingway and the University of Holguin in Cuba. He has performed in Canada, Cuba, Denmark, England, Norway, Holland, Poland, Spain, the USA and at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia.
