“Lighthearted, laugh-out-loud funny and all too accessible (as the many Torres aunts and cousins keep butting into Ami's and Olive's lives), The Unhoneymooners is delightful. Olive's initial dislike of Ethan, tempered by her slow realization of his good qualities, makes for a charming and enjoyable romance.”

Hard to put down

"I don’t think there’s a Christina Lauren book that I haven’t loved! These ladies are truly so talented and I can’t wait to read more of their books"

King of boring honestly. Literal spin off of the couple on TV that flips houses. (The Gaines)

"The novel came in perfect condition, no damage, tears, bends etc."

Cute and fun

"Fun and comedic, the novel was a light read and it was easy to connect with the characters."

Didn't Do It For Me

"As I awlays mention, Christina Lauren's books are always a hit or a miss for me, there is not inbetween. The premise is interesting, but the actually story telling didn't really grab onto me and I felt like it was awkward between myself and the characters. I just couldn't connect with them as much as I wanted. I gave it a 3-stars because I did enjoy some parts, but overall, I put it back on my shelf once I finished and haven't really thought much about it after."

Not For Me

"As a publicist working in television, I felt like ""The Honey-Don't List"" was written for me. I mean, it follows two co-workers who are tasked with making sure America's favourite couple aka their bosses, keep it together. Sounds like a normal day to me. However, my interest faded with its slow build and I actually felt secondhand embarrassment a couple times which I haven't experienced since attempting to get through ""After"" by Anna Todd. It was missing something, but I can't quite put my finger on what."

HGTV Couple Gone Wrong

"What a fun and unique romantic comedy! For those that like home improvement shows on TLC or HGTV, this one is for you! Actually, even if you don't typically watch those shows (like me), give it a chance. This was an enjoyable, quick read, and the romance was absolutely charming. Between the two main characters, there was everything that you could want in a duo: chemistry, steam, charm, and romance. Honestly, I would love to see this novel adapted to film. I beg and plead to the film industry. Between the story and how funny it would be on-screen, I know it could be made into the perfect movie (if it was done well). I will say, intentional or not, I could not help but think of the Gaines couple and the Magnolia brand when reading this novel. I KNOW that this is a totally fictionalized story but it almost made the story even better to have a real life couple that is the total opposite to compare to. Does that make sense? Maybe not to anyone else. As always, Christina Lauren never fail in their delivery of a romantic comedy that checks off all the boxes. ***Thank you to the publisher for supplying me with an ARC of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review***"

Full of CLo's Signature Style

"This CLo book is different then all of the other CLo's I've read and if anything, I think I love it even more! This story is unique to the contemporary/romance genre and the world they've created is wonderful! The Chip and Joanna nods will make this book an easy recommendation for friends and a definite preorder! I loved that this story was focused around the people, around their relationship with others and that the backbone wasn't just about the physical. It made you take a deeper look at the true meaning of friendship and family without undermining the importance of looking after yourself. I'm sure this story will hit home with many. The Honey-Don't List contains all of CLo's signature style. Beautifully wonderful characters, laugh out loud moments, and the odd cringe of awkwardness. Well done CLo, well done, this book is already in my cart, and I can't wait to gift it to friends and family when it releases. Also, can I just say, love this cover! (cue heart eyes) Thank you for being bold and individual! To anyone reading this review, I would highly recommend picking this book up if you're looking for something to warm your heart and keep you smiling for days. Thank you NetGalley and Simon and Shuster Canada for the e-arc."

A good, quick romance

"In this new rom-com from our rom-com favourites. we follow Casey and James who are the assistance to reality- -home-renovation TV stars! The stars are about to go on tour for their new book which means a vacation for Casey and James. . . that is until the rumour mill starts with infidelity and trouble in paradise gossip and suddenly Casey and James are forced to go on tour to keep the peace between the two stars, who by the way are on tour to promote a book on how to have a happy marriage! . . I loved Casey and James! They were great characters and I really enjoyed their relationship. They had great banter and it was so satisfying to see them stand up to their bosses near the end! . . Casey is a really great character. She is so loyal even when her boss doesn’t deserve it, and she really tries to see the best in people. I don’t often do this but I found myself thinking, she’s a total Hufflepuff, throughout this book lol! . I did feel that the ending was a little rushed and I would have wanted the big climatic event to happen a few chapters earlier so that we could see more of the aftermath recovery progress Casey and James"

Enjoyed this one!

"I really enjoyed this one! It was a fun and easy to read romcom. I really liked our main characters Carey and James. They are working for big time home design and renovation TV couple Melissa and Rusty Tripp. This happily married couples relationship is a little rockier than it appears to the public so when they are scheduled to go on a book tour Carey and James are recruited to help keep everything going smoothly. . I really enjoyed seeing the importance of people who work behind the scenes. They aren’t the ones who get the attention but the job wouldn’t get done without them. This novel is also a good reminder that what you see portrayed in the media, or on social media, might not be a true reflection of real life. I loved the banter between the characters and you definitely see how they get to know each other. . This was more of a slow burn enemies to relationship and more of a closed door/fade to black romance especially compared to some of the other Christina Lauren books! I loved the representing of the main character having a physical disability and loved the vulnerability, and acceptance, of this through the novel. Carey was loyal, almost to a fault, but I was so happy with how everything was resolved"

Loved it

"Carey works for a designing couple, Melissa and Rusty. She is Melissa’s assistant. Her and James, Rusty’s assistant, join Mel and Rusty on their book tour. The problem is that Rusty is having an affair. Carey and James have to work together to make the tour run smoothly, making them closer to each other. There was actually a lot of tension in the story, even though it was a light romance most of the time. Some of the chapters, alternating between Carey’s and James’s perspectives, ended with their police interviews. The actual incident that they were being interviewed about isn’t revealed until the end of the book, which kept up the tension. I didn’t think the incident was as big a deal as the police interview made it seem, especially since they moved on pretty quickly after the fact. Carey had a condition I had never heard of before. She had dystonia, which is a condition that affects the muscle movement in her hands. That condition played into some of the decisions that she made in the story. Sexism in the workplace was also an important part of the story. Even though Carey had worked with Melissa for a decade, she wasn’t given the same privileges as James, who had only worked for Rusty for two months. This was addressed a little in the book, but this is an important problem in the world that I’m glad was included. I really enjoyed this book! Thank you Simon and Schuster Canada for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review."
