A treat for people who are fans of both super-hero comics and Victorian literature

"The first and best of writer Alan Moore and artist Kevin O'Neill's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stories, set in a world populated by characters from various works of fiction. It's much better than the movie version, which made changes to the comic's plot and characters. This volume brings together Mina Murray from Dracula, Allan Quatermain from King Solomon's Mines, Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Dr. Jekyll and his alter ego Mr. Hyde, and the Invisible Man. Not one of Moore's deeper works, but one he seemed to have fun writing. A warning though that some people may be turned off by the graphic sex and violence in the series."

great

"Good story and interesting artwork."

Corey (4/5)

Cool concept

"These comics are great. Awesome characters!"

Randy (3/5)

Nope

"The story was alright, but this graphic novel was just filled with so much racism and sexism that it was really hard to get into. Like I honestly don't want to read a story where the main villain is Chinese and the living embodiment of that ""dragon"" stereotype. It's just so boring. Maybe if i had shut my brain off for half an hour, I would've enjoyed it, but otherwise this is not a must read. #plumreview"
