The Music Lover's Guide to North America: Museums, Historical Sites, and Other Points of Interest
"A lovely romp through some musical history. It is clear that Josephine & Craig do a thorough job getting to know people at each of these destinations. It is nice to get that more human side of history in a travel guide and a music book. Fantastic concept. You'll learn a lot!"

Must-have guide
"Between the writing skills of co-author Jo Matyas, who is one of the best travel writers I know, and the musical expertise of co-author Craig Jones, this book is a must-do. Love Music? Love to travel. Be sure to add this great guide to your library!"

An essential guide for ""real"" and armchair travel!
"I was given Chasing the Blues, the authors' first book, as a gift and so enjoyed it that I was excited to read that they have published a second book. I am just a casul music fan, but enjoy travel (even armchair travel!). I look for opportunities to enjoy music in different places, and The Music Lovers' Guide is a great guide to planning and finding music in many different places - certainly museums, but also many other places both obvious and hidden. A great, very readable book - highly recommended!"

Fantastic!
"I really enjoyed The Music Lover’s Guide to North America. It’s easy to read, well organized, and full of interesting places I didn’t even know existed. I like how it covers both famous spots and smaller, lesser-known sites, so there’s something for every kind of music fan. It feels genuine and informative without being overwhelming. If you love music and travel, this is a great book to have on hand."

I purchased this book
"I purchased this book about 2 months ago. I never realized there were so many music museums both here in Canada and the US. As i read each section i tried to imagine being there and wishing i could actually go to each and every place. Imagining touching instruments that Buddy Holly, Willy Nelson or Gordon Lightfoot might have touched. Definitely a great read."
