She co-authored Creativity for Everybody (2015) and Discovering and Developing Talents in Spanish Speaking Students (2012) and has written several chapters in edited volumes. Kathryn writes a monthly column for The Creativity Post, has written extensively for publications and journals, her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, and she is a published poet. Kathryn earned her BA in Spanish literature and culture at Northwestern University and her MS in creativity and change leadership from the acclaimed International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY, Buffalo. Kathryn began her career as a banker in Chicago but a move to California catalyzed the discovery of her true calling as an entrepreneur. She founded Ignite Creative Learning Studio which evolved into Sparkitivity, now based near New York City.
