Lynne Marie is an award-winning, multi-published picture book author whose most recent book received an Anna Dewdney Read Together Award Honor and a Children’s Book Council Favorite Award in the Teacher, Librarian, and Kids categories. Passionate about culture, art, history, and mythology, she enjoys weaving these elements into her stories. Her love of furry creatures, storytelling, and travel—as well as a memorable visit to the Palace of Versailles in France—inspired The Palace Rat. She resides in Florida.

Eva Santana is an author and illustrator of children’s books who began her career in publishing in 1995 and has since written and illustrated more than fifty titles, both her own works and those of other authors. Before returning to her early love of illustration, she explored photography, history, and jewelry-making, and worked as an editor of children’s books and director of the Catalan magazine Super3 Club. Her creative path has always been guided by imagination and storytelling, whether in words or pictures. In addition to her literary and artistic career, she is also a mother—and an enthusiastic, if not always successful, balcony gardener. She resides in Barcelona, Catalonia.
