Cristina Expósito Escalona was born in Cádiz, Spain, in 1983. She has a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid. Her passion for reading, and especially for writing, began at an early age. She has won several awards in school publications and has contributed to local newspapers and magazines. She loves to share her moments alone with a blank piece of paper, where she gives free rein to her feelings, thoughts and imagination.

Luz Marina Baltasar (Logroño, 1981) studied at the School of Fine Arts in Seville. With cardboard as his ally, he created a collection of drawings, made buildings, and invented games. Creation became her refuge, and the awards soon followed. First at school, and later the ‘Seville is Talent’ scholarship; ICAS, Seville; the ‘IV Certamen de Dibujo Contemporáneo Centenera Jaraba’ award, Madrid; first prize in the ‘XIII Certamen de Creación Joven’, from Seville City Council and ‘IV Concurso arte joven’, from the Andalusian Regional Government. Her first picture book as an author and illustrator was published in South Korea. Through painting, drawing and sculpture, Luz Marina conveys a living, exciting and beautiful art form.
