Donny Cates is the ageless and charming writer and creator of Hunter Quaid, Buzzkill, The Ghost Fleet, and The Paybacks at Dark Horse Comics. In 2014 he was selected for the Best Graphic Novelist award by The Austin Chronicle and has successfully evaded capture for hundreds of years. Recently he has worked for Valiant and Marvel Comics on titles such as Secret Wars and Archer & Armstrong. The author lives in Austin, Texas where he enjoys hiding from daylight and spending time with his wife and cat. He is almost assuredly not a Vampire.
