Claudia Favarato is a Postdoctoral Research fellow with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, based at the University of Bayreuth (Germany). She is also an Associate Researcher at the Harvard Association for Global Political Thought. She previously worked as a Visiting Researcher at SOAS University of London and as an Assistant Lecturer at Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Politicas (ISCSP) at the University of Lisbon, where she obtained her PhD in Political Science. Dr. Favarato's research specializes in comparative political theory and African philosophy. focusing on the digitalization of political ideas. She co-authors the upcoming bookDigital Politics in African Perspective-Technological Transformations and Political Dynamics(Springer Nature, 2026).
