Great Read!

"The Selection by Kiera Cass is an amazing teen read about people living in different castes based on financials. The prince, a 1 is set to find a wife. Many girls fight to go into a selection to be chosen to compete for his hand. Ameica Singer wants nothing to do with this selection, but she enters anyway to help her family. When she is chosen she has to decide whether to follow her heart and go with her childhood love, or stay and compete for the princes hand. If you are a fan of a fantasy, teen-friendly version of the bachelor then this is for you!"

It doesn’t disappoint. Worthy of ten stars.

"This book is so good! It has an exceptional story line and a storybook romance. It’s fast pace and impossible to put down."

A Good Book For Teenage Girls

"I thought it was a really good book. I thought one of the main character's love interest was really annoying."

Great!

"Good book, great dystopian with a dash of romance book for teenagers without any explicit content"

The Selection

"I really enjoyed this book despite usually disliking love triangles, the series handles it well. The main character America has the chance to leave her old life for a chance at a new one, something she is not sure she wants. I liked that she was hesitant and that throughout the book she is continually thinking of her family and supporting them in any way that she can. America also doesn't just follow the norm but goes against tradition to show kindness and compassion to others. However don't let this make you think she is weak-willed, America consistently shows wit during the challenges she faces and is not afraid to let someone know her mind."

Identity Crisis and not sure who she really is.

"loved this book, but i feel like it made america seem like a cheater, as she was kind of turning on her first lover. Loved this book otherwise"

“A cross between The Hunger Games (minus the bloodsport) and The Bachelor (minus the bloodsport), this trilogy launch is a lot of fun. Cass deftly builds the chemistry between America and Maxon, while stroking the embers of America’s first, forbidden love.” - Publishers Weekly
“Cass’s immensely readable debut novel is a less drastic Hunger Games, with elaborate fashion and trappings. The fast-paced action will have readers gasping for the upcoming sequel.” - Booklist
“An engrossing tale reminiscent of Shannon Hale’s Princess Academy and Ally Condie’s Matched. Fairy-tale lovers will lose themselves in America’s alternate reality and wish that the next glamorous sequel were waiting for them.” - School Library Journal
