Page turner

"Very good ''who done it''. J. K Rowling aka Galbraith is a really good story teller. The streets of London come to life."

Patty (3/5)

Great!

"This book was FULL of surprises! every time I thought I had the plot figured out something was changed. I loved the story line between the main charters and it left me wanting more."

Gillian (5/5)

Good but convoluted

"I am really enjoying this series of mysteries featuring private detective Cormoran Strike. This story features the same interesting characters and expands on the growing working relationship between strike and his assistant, Robin. The mystery at the heart of the story is highly original and also highly convoluted, which leads to a lot of ponderous exposition as well as highly detailed descriptions of London transit. I enjoyed it, but there was some deep wading at points."

Skater (3/5)

A little disappointed

"I love the Strike series, however, this third installment was a little unbelievable and at times I felt the story lost momentum and stalled. Although still enjoyable and excellently written, it feels like the author failed to achieve what they set out to create. I would still read it to keep up with the series, but set you ""expectation bar"" a little lower for this one."
