Reviews

So intriguing, he’s genius with his words

"This author is like no other! So immensely drawn into this fantasy world that it’s hard to pull yourself back to reality. Only reading a couple pages feels like an eternity. Love it."

The slow regard of silent things review

"If you liked the kingkiller chronicle you’ll love this little side story about Auri."

Jeff (5/5)

Don't buy. Save your money.

"Don't buy. It's about on week in the life of Auri. However much you may like the character from the main books of the series, this book will likely disappoint. Nothing happens. Nothing."

Razor (2/5)

Shorter than a full novel, but lovely none the less.

"A great little book to tide you over while you wait for the third book in the King Killer Chronicles."

Esther (5/5)

It s a great surprise of a book!!

"It is a great page turner. It is also a wonderfully written book. Inventive. Entertaining and always surprising."

Old G. (5/5)

Odd book, but still interesting

"Very different from the other two books in the series, told from a different point of view."

Eric (4/5)

Strange Little Companion (much like Auri)

"I have never read a book like this before, nor would I have bothered to read it if I'd know what it was like. That said, I do not regret reading this little slice of life piece about Auri's life in the Underthing. However, I don't intend to buy it in the future (I read it it from the library). It's written beautifully, like the two main books, but it's also written differently from them. As it is from Auri's (albeit third person) perspective, it can get very confusing. Also, it was quite tedious as times, as indicated by the fact that this little book took me 3 days to read. Overall, I think it's worth reading once, especially if you're a big Kingkiller fan, but you wouldn't be missing out on anything in the main (Kvothe's) story if you choose to skip out. And for those wondering, this slice-of-life story of Auri's happens somewhere near the beginning of The Wise Man's Fear, during the week before one of her visits with Kvothe."

Very unique.

"I loved the writing style of this book. It was a great glimpse into one of the most mysterious characters of the series."

Michael (5/5)

Lovely

"Nice glimpse into Auri's life and who she is as a character! Definitely recommend if you are a fan of the series!"
