In this monograph for the first time in the national and foreign literature and in the world of Iranian studies the spiritual and creative personality of Jalaladdin Balkhi is studied on the basis of his native son Sulton Valad, reflected in the Masnavi "Valad-name" through a comprehensive and consistent literary research and analysis. The topic under consideration is researched on the basis of new achievements of the theory of analysis of spiritual and creative worlds of fiction writers, which were published in scientific-theoretical publications of literary circles of Tajikistan, Turkey, Iran, Russia, and other Western countries. In the monograph the hagiography (mankaba) of Jalaladdin Balkhi and his companions is placed in correlation with the spiritual connection between them, and the issues related to the reflection of Mawlawiyya tariqat and Sufism (irfon and tasavvuf) essence are analyzed. Issues related to the comprehension of the word of Mawlano Jalaliddin Rumi and the explanation of some symbols of irfon are considered in detail and thematically, which is a first experience in Tajik literary criticism.
