Reviews

Only until you read the synopsis does it make you want to know who the whisper man is

"Written with great detail, story is outlined really well and really gets under your skin at the last moment."

ZoSo (5/5)

I liked the title, caught my eye.

"The book was okay, slow paced and a lot of fill-in."

Jade (3/5)

Truly suspenseful and a page- turner

"I know I have bought this book and read it, but I have bought it as a gift for people and I recommended it to many people to read… It is one of the most suspenseful thriller, horror books I’ve ever read! Well done!"

JohnnyV (5/5)

Beautifully Creepy

"A friend of mine called it ""beautifully creepy"" and its the best description I can think of. Definitely worth the read."

Shines (5/5)

Good title

"Plot twist the ending was a bit sad but what a good read"

Destiny (5/5)

Healthy Emotional Men in a Creepy Book!

"The Whisper Man is so much more than just a good creepy story. It has a lot of father-son love. And that made the story for me. Not a lot of books have fathers that love their sons. Tom is such a great father though. This book projected men in an authentic way. They weren’t toxic or hard to read from their pov’s."

Chloe (5/5)

Great read!

"Really enjoyed this book. It is a thriller with a bit of the supernatural, but then everything makes sense at the end. It examines the complex relationship between fathers and sons and the influence that fathers have on their sons. It examines how people deal with loss and how it affects their lives and decisions. I like this writer’s style and will read more of his work because the novel was fast paced yet intelligent."

MurphyRose (5/5)

AMAZING!!

"This book was an incredible read! Intense page turner. I could not put it down, finished it in an entire day. If you like to keep guessing, and being constantly surprised, and love crime and thriller, this book is for you! Very disturbing and horrific, and beautiful written."

Keah H. (5/5)

Loved

"Really good read, some great twists and turns. Loved the dual pov."

Sarahamrie (5/5)

Amazing book

"This was the first book I had read since before covid, and I think my spiked interest in reading is owed to this book and just how amazing it is. It has great characters, and the ending is. . shocking. And very well written."

Early Praise for The Whisper Man:

"The Whisper Man is the most unsettling thriller I have read since Jo Nesbø's The Snowman. Much more than the sum of its parts, it is nightmarish and disturbing and, at the same time, a moving and life-affirming novel about fathers and sons, and grief, loss, and recovery.
—Alex Michaelides, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller The Silent Patient

"Brilliant...an affirmation of the power of the father-son relationship...will satisfy readers of Thomas Harris and Stephen King."
Booklist, Starred Review

"A terrifying page-turner with the complexities of fatherhood at its core."
Kirkus Reviews

"A powerful and scary story that will haunt readers long after the final page is turned."
Library Journal

"First it’s spooky. Then it’s scary. Then it’s terrifying. And then… well, dear reader, proceed at your own risk. An ambitious, deeply satisfying thriller—a seamless blend of Harlan Coben, Stephen King, and Thomas Harris. My flesh is still crawling."
—A.J. Finn, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Woman in the Window
