Geraint Jones is an author and military historian who served as an infantry soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan. His first book on WWII, D-Day: The Unheard Tapes, was a Sunday Times number 1 bestseller in 2024, and accompanied the acclaimed BBC2 series of the same name. His war memoir Brothers in Arms was published in 2019, and his work with Major Adam Jowett, No Way Out, was a Sunday Times bestseller. He also co-authored Escape from Kabul with Levison Wood, which was published in 2023. He has published several novels, including titles with James Patterson.
"Voices of Victory is full of remarkable testimonies that speak to the reader with an immediacy that is compulsive. Skillfully woven together, they create a humane and moving story of war in all its brutality." —Levison Wood, British Army officer, explorer, and author of Walking the Nile

"Enthralling and enlightening...A wonderful look into the personal experiences, that heart and soul, of the fighting soldier towards the end of the Second World War." —John Nichol, Sunday Times bestselling author of The Unknown Warrior

"A vital book to read, as frontline soldiers share their experiences without the embellishments that victorious nations often apply to their wars. It reveals the harsh realities of fighting amidst the fear, brutality, chaos, and courage that war entails. This is especially significant when conflict appears alarmingly close, serving as a reminder of the potential consequences should we ever find ourselves in a similar situation again." —Andy McNab, author of Brave Two Zero

"This gripping book is a moving tribute to the veterans who gave so much for peace and a powerful reminder that their sacrifices should never be forgotten." —Johnny Mercer, former Minister for Veterans Affairs and bestselling author of We Were Warriors
