The book takes us on another metaphysical journey, related in serious and humorous episodes of our existence, being, love, and purpose in the universe. The journey is a chaotic one viewed from the perspective of mad-men (and women). Through the protagonists, the argument is presented that traditional existential philosophers have made serious errors in their God versus “God is dead” logic. The universe is neither cold nor neutral. It and we are imbued with an essence of quality that can pull us together, can pull us apart, but pulls us irresistibly upward.
However, like all ontological discussions, one can exfoliate as many or as few layers as one wishes and more remain. It’s turtles all the way down. So, prepare to wrestle with a Rubik’s cube of existential questions we all have. There is no guarantee that our tussle will get the colors to line up. But, the joy lies in the attempt.
