GREAT Novel - On Its Own or as a Sequel
"I absolutely LOVED this follow up to Firekeeper's Daughter! I didn't think anything could beat the original, but this had me hooked within the first couple of chapters. I appreciate that it's a different time and character focus from the original, but still in the same world, meaning that it doesn't have to be read as a sequel. I loved the spunky protagonist and the complex dives into repatriation and missing and murdered Indigenous women. I hope to get many students reading this in the Fall!"
