Kathleen Borealis, geologist and host of Borealis Meditation podcast

"Debra Burris combines science and spellcraft with a seamless ease....Burris shows us her magical practice from a variety of diverse angles and her work is a wonderful mixture of heart and head."
Brandon Weston, author of Ozark Folk Magic and Ozark Mountain Spell Book

"How refreshing to read the words of this magic-wielding scientist and teacher! The Pagan communities are rich with books on ritual creation and spellwork but this book is something completely different. It is deep and rich and thought-provoking."
H. Byron Ballard, witch, gardener, and author of Seasons of a Magical Life

"Debra Burris has written the definitive book where myth, weather, and science are beautifully woven into an enjoyable and cohesive tapestry. With clear explanations and easy-to-do exercises, Weather Magic is an invitation to the expert or novice to explore the possibilities that weather energy can lend to your magical practice."
Raina Starr, host/producer of Desperate House Witches

"Debra Burris is both a physicist and witch, and she gives us a clear picture of what is actually going on in the atmosphere to cause weather, then weaves that knowledge into magical workings that are both useful and imaginative....This book is about working with the weather in ways that empower our witchcraft and strengthen our ties to the planet and its web of life."
Diotima Mantineia, astrologer, soil/crop scientist, and author of Touch the Earth, Kiss the Sky

Her words brought to me a way to understand weather formation that I never experienced before. The weather and magical descriptions are easy to understand and apply personally to my life."
Marla K. Roberson, Georgian Elder and High Priestess, programming director of Mystic South Conference

"Debra Burris has deftly interwoven her magickal practices with her professional training as an astrophysicist. The striking result is Weather Magic, a deep dive into the physics of weather phenomena and the methods practitioners of magick might employ to better align their energies with the meteorological elements around them. Accessible and authoritatively written, Weather Magic offers readers multiple tips and tricks to sharpen their awareness of and deepen their connections with the abundant natural magic of Earth."
