Colin Cowie was born in Kitwe, Zambia, and educated in South Africa. After moving to California in 1985, Colin formed Colin Cowie Lifestyle, the premier event planning, catering, and design company, with offices in Los Angeles and New York. Since its inception, Colin has expanded his company to include everything associated with fine and gracious living, including the design of clothing, homes, furnishings, and even entire lifestyles. He is a contributing editor for InStyle, Eating Well, and Honeymoon magazines; is currently working on a groom''s guide to weddings; and is designing a collection of fine china, crystal, and silverware for Lenox.
