The great evangelist John Lake said that for Christians, all scriptures serves as common law, "but the words of Jesus are the Supreme Court of the gospel. When I want a Supreme Court decision, I appeal to the words of Jesus." Christianity claims that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to live here on earth for a brief period in history. If this is actually true, then what He had to say to us would be the most important words ever spoken to the human race. The words of Jesus give us direct and indirect insight on how God interacts with His creation and His intentions for us. His words give us a brief glimpse into a spiritual world we know very little about. His words tell us how the spiritual and the physical worlds impact each other. The words of Jesus tell us who we are, where we are going, and how to find peace and reconciliation with your heavenly father. Who is God? Who is Jesus? Heaven! Who are We?
