Ormond L. Wimberly Jr. is an incarcerated African-American male. Prior to incarceration he earned a master's degree in the Administration of Justice from Wichita State University, taught, as an adjunct, in the criminal justice department at a university, and was pursuing his doctorates in conflict management. He co-developed and taught the curriculum for 7-Habits of Highly Effective People for the past six years. He has extensive experience in teaching, program design, and instructional development. He continues to teach a variety of classes designed to improve self-esteem and promote empowerment. His interests include: community service, writing, studying motivational literature, attending church, mentoring, and playing the flute.
