Wine and writing are two of my favorite passions, others are gardening and crafts. I began playing in dirt and crafting as a child, but waited until a more respectable age to enjoy wine. Several years ago my writing shifted from supporting my business career and I began writing articles and books that combined my hobbies and love of writing. As a resident of Virginia I become interested in the history of winemaking in general and particularly in Virginia wines. I am a strong advocate and supporter of local Virginia wines. For the past five years I have researched all things related to wine, from humorous sayings to serious wine competitions. What began as a wine hobby for my personal enjoyment has led to my writing several books relating to wines.
