With this narrative autobiographical work, author Beryl Botman yells the story of a love journey between a man and a woman over a period of twenty-five years. She frames the narrative through the eighteen-month periods at the beginning and end of her relationship and marriage to Russel Botman. In dialogue with her great-grandmother, she contrasts the joys and sorrows of these two moments in time.
