This book was slowly birthed across the years as the author has listened to people use the wonderful gift of language. Language can be seriously handicapped by provincial usage. Time influences the use of words. This author remembers when gay meant joyous and aids were something that helped you. As a public speaker I have moved among many denominations and listen to the strange language spoken in church. Just as attorneys have legalese and doctors have doctorspeak, Christians have Christianese. I really wonder if the world around us understands a word we say.
