ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Franceschelli grew up in Auburn, New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. A graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, he spent three decades in the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office, prosecuting the kind of cases that keep small towns awake at night. With over two hundred murder trials and fifteen death penalty cases under his belt, he discovered that behind every small town's friendly facade lie deadly secrets—and some will kill to keep them.
Trading Ohio's courtrooms for the peaceful waters of North Carolina's Lake Norman, where he lives with his wife and their four cats (who plead the Fifth), David now transforms decades of real-world courtroom drama into page-turning suspense.
Whispers From Dark Waters, his second Blake Moretti Thriller, follows his acclaimed debut Misty River, diving deeper into the murky waters beneath small-town surfaces.

"David Franceschelli recently published the first book in a series that features his fictional prosecutor Blake Moretti — inspired by real cases he prosecuted for the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office."
