Really loved it. Greg
"Really loved it. Greg Rhyno's murder mystery had me suspecting everyone including the dead guy (suicide?), his ex-wife Dame who was reluctantly drawn into the investigation, his moonlighting widow, a shiftless brother-in-law, a ruthless racketeer, and a raft of odd-ball Toronto Islanders who may have contrived or bungled their way to killing this philandering musician. Speaking of philandering, another series of mysteries in the book was who slept with whom, a fascinating set of whodunits with some indecorous couplings. Dame, the main character, is a wonderfully authentic gem, unravelling the mystery of who killed her ex while juggling the responsibilities of a single parent and an infirm father. I ended the book wanting to read more of Dame, which luckily can happy right away because ""Who by Water"" is the sequel to the successful ""Who by Fire"". Given that Dame ended ""Who by Water"" in more trouble than she started, the Dame Polara series is at the beginning of what I am hoping is many more Who's."
