Gonna cry real bad

"Your Lie in April is one of the most heartbreaking manga I've read, it's so sad for every character. The anime is pretty good and a faithful adaption of this manga. The only gripe I have with the manga is that as a series that revolves around music, the scenes with performances, be they violin or piano, are somewhat lackluster. Maybe look up the corresponding pieces of music somewhere and play them to get some extra oomph out of reading the manga."

Heartfelt

"Such a great manga with such a heartfelt and meaningful story."

Prepare to cry

"The first volume sets up which will no doubt be a tragedy later on; this manga's repuation succeeds it but I would like to finish it either way. It makes me feel things"

Watch the Anime

"While you can get the gist of it it's very hard to explain music to people who haven't heard that music before."

BriansMangaAddiction (3/5)

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

"I absolutely love this series. The art is great and the music in the anime is stunning. You have to see this series at least once in your lifetime."

FEELS!

"I watched the anime and I could very much relate to the main protagonist, Kousei. I also play piano and have high expectations from others. Its soooooo emotional. I cried and everyone I know who watched the anime or read the manga has as well."

Anonymousreader (5/5)

Stunning

"This series is amazing. Everything from the art to the story. Each page was inked to perfection, with emotion in every line. The characters were very relatable with designs to express each of their personalities. The sonnets that were played in this manga were described with passion. My heart was moved by this enchanting story of how music ties with our life."

Sainori (5/5)

Delia (5/5)
