A Crime Against Origins is a novel by the Moroccan writer Najat Al-Badawi, in which she addresses the topic of incest, which is considered one of the taboos in Arab societies. The novel also includes a description of the social and moral values of Moroccan society and the incompatibility between the imagined and practice.
