Reviews

Very interesting premise

"Was a bit slow moving a the beginning but built a neat world where the ability to visit 20 years into the past or future exists."

Tara K. (4/5)

K. B. (5/5)

"Not something I would pick up if not on Canada Reads long list but a pleasant surprise."

Christine (4/5)

Time Travel

"Slow start but worth the read. Interesting and thought provoking."

Rina (5/5)

Interesting premise

"As long as you can suspend your logical mind this is an interesting premise for a story with more than one moral dilemmas."

Linda (4/5)

FIVE STARS

"This book was a 5 star read for me. Such a beautiful, introspective story."

Jaqnielsen (5/5)

Entrecroisement du passé et présent

"Bien, malgré que le livre ne va pas dans la direction imaginé. Bonne histoire et idée intrigante."

Migriv (3/5)

Boring, no dialogue.

"I lasted 80 pages. It was a long boring read, the writing style made it hard to get into the story. No dialogue between characters. I kept waiting for something to happen in the story line, it moved so slowly. It seemed like it was written by a high school kid. One of the worst books I've read."

Love L. (1/5)

Thought Provoking!

"This story was quite original and a times a tad confusing, but I really enjoyed it. I found it to be both sad and incredibly thought provoking. The author has created this interesting world where the valley to either side holds the same world 20 years earlier or later. Managing such a society, where someone can change the present if they were allowed to go back, results in a complex set of morality issues. This story will stay with me. Thank you to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy. 4/5 stars!"

Mpcacher (4/5)

Expecting More

"I was looking forward to reading this but I found it a bit slow and I never became very invested in the characters or the story. The last twenty pages or so were interesting but that wasn’t enough to make this a worthwhile read."
