Easy read, but nothing earth-shattering

"This was an easy book to read through but I didn't find the content particularly engaging. There is good stuff in there, particularly on using Sabbath rests for those in leadership but I have found much of the content expressed elsewhere in a better and more thorough way. It feels like the goal was readability and some of the depth of communication was sacrificed as a result."

"This book looks at work and rest and it does a magnificent job. It helps the reader to see how just about any kind of work is God's work, not just preaching or church planting. It also makes a solid case for the importance of rest as a way of trusting God's sovereignty. Highly recommend this book, especially for young adults trying to get started in a career."
