“It’s been amazing to watch Brad’s amazing journey and not only his passion and dedication to his sport but also to his home province and country.”
—Jeremy Charles

“My first interview for CBC’s 22 Minutes was with a young Brad Gushue. Since then, I’ve watched him climb to the heights of his sport without ever losing touch with the young man with a big Dream. As we say in Newfoundland, ‘he’s as good as gold.’”
Mark Critch

“Not only did Brad Gushue triumph on the world stage, but he took all of us Newfoundlanders with him. He has shown us that we can do anything if we put our minds and bodies to it.”
—Alan Doyle

“Brad Gushue is one of the very best to ever play the game. His strategic mind and ability to make soft-weight shots are second to none. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the honour of curling with him!”
—Kerri Einarson

“Brad Gushue has always felt to me to be the perfect example of a Newfoundland and Labradorian who lives on the world stage. His successes, hard work and dedication gives each and every one of us something to aspire to.”
—Allan Hawco

“There have been many great players throughout the years, but to have the ability, at only 25 years old, to win Gold at the Olympics, is very special.”
—Russ Howard

“You only get out of something what you put into something. He was hard to play for. He was demanding. But Brad Gushue only demanded of others what he demanded of himself.”
—Vic Rauter
