Horimiya vol. 1 is the start of a cute high-school romance!

"Horimiya is a really cute high-school romance manga. Its a very sweet coming of age story!"

Stefania (5/5)

Started off okay, not as good as what people made it out to be online

"The whole premise of two people knowing a side about each other that only they are aware of is fine, that is, these sides are something super personal or out of character. I didn't find that either ""sides"" shown in the beginning were fleshed out enough and they never touched upon it again later. The character personalities change so abruptly with no build up and the plot never goes anywhere. Honestly, thats fine if there's something to make up for the lack of plot such as comedy, but Horimiya wasn't super funny either. Overall, it was a pretty big let down. In terms of plot, it's static. In terms of comedy, it doesn't hold a candle to something like Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun. It started off okay, but I wouldn't spend my money on the later volumes."

Starts off Good, Goes Downhill

"I really enjoyed this story and the first few volumes, but I will admit it does start to stray away in the future volumes, to the point where you'll go chapters without even hearing about the main couple, it focuses on side characters more as the story progresses. It also feels as if the main two get abandoned, character wise, as they start changing to a point it's a complete 180 from their original, and the main storyline kind of gets lost."

Jolene (3/5)

Got This For My Birthday

"I absolutely LOVE IT! This is the one and only manga I've read and I can conclude that it is my favourite. The characters are all so adorable, and the art style is to die for! They are so cuteeeee AH"

Love this

"I love this story and the graphics. It's cute without being too cheesy, has some wit and comedy in it, a strong but sensitive guy, and a cute tomboy girl. Love it , love it even in my twenties."
