But even Amity can admit their home renovation is doomed. Nothing is going right, from the paint that refuses to dry to the fixtures that keep coming loose. So Amity and Theo strike a deal—his family’s construction expertise for her help investigating the house’s supernatural secrets. Even scarier than ghosts, though? Amity’s growing feelings for Theo.

That is until she moves across the country with her mother, away from California and into a New England home that is haunted - apparently. Theo has a whole YouTube channel dedicated to the house Amity is moving into. As much as Amity stands by her level-headed beliefs, soon things start to happen online that house that are not that easily explained. I absolutely LOVED this YA romance with haunted house theme! I’m not much for horror and I’m sure others wouldn’t even bat an eye at the spookiness of the book, but I have to admit that it was genuinely spooky for me! 😅 The romance was so cute and sweet and, as always, I just absolutley love Jenny’s writing ☺️ This would be the perfect read as we head from the sweltering heat to fall weather. Or, ya know, read it on August 7th. That sounds like a good idea too 😉"
