Excellent read

"This is an adorable read for children. Pictures are eye catching. The forest is brought to life and the ideas in book stay in memory for when you can have your own walk in the forest."

Another GREAT Kallie George Book!

"I am a huge fan of Kallie George. Me and my kids love all of her books that we have read. We especially love her “I Hear You” series. They really help both adults and children open up to everything around them. In this book, I Hear You, Forest, you get to experience the beauty that is within the forest. From the tallest trees reaching to the sky to the rustling of leaves on the forest ground and all the amazing nature and creatures in between. I think this would be a great book to bring along on nature walks or hikes, or even to your local parks or anywhere with some sort of wooded area. As you go on your walk, you can open the book and reference the things around you, or after your walk you can read it and talk about all the things you experience too. I personally enjoy this book as a parent, ECE and nature lover but more importantly my children also love it. Actually, the ECE that runs our local early learning drop-in program, read this book the other day and all the children loved it. They found it interesting and engaging and it kept everyone's attention till the end."

Colleen (5/5)

Baby loves it but there’s very little text

"My 1 year old loves this book but there’s very little text inside so it’s a very quick read"

Shoshanna (4/5)

If you listen to the forest, what will it tell you?

"Beautiful book to inspire you and your children to connect with nature."

“A whimsical tale of a child who listens hard in enjoying the woods. Every spread features onomatopoeic text that simulates the sounds of trees, leaves, animals, and other living things … A good reminder that a stroll through the woods should provide lots of opportunities to slow down and notice.”
Kirkus Reviews

“Reminds us all how the sounds of nature can be restorative to our minds and bodies…..Read this book and head out for a hike. Carmen Mok’s illustrations are both whimsical and realistic, making you wish you were napping on a forest floor right now.”
TinyBeans

“Children who read this book will likely be inspired to go explore nature.”
What Is Bridget Reading?

“A lovely new picture book reminding readers that any sojourn into nature is enriching, but will be much more so when we activate all of our senses and awareness.”
