Great Deck

"If you are blessed enough to be able to feel energy, the energy from these cards is amazing. I just love shuffling them. The energy feels like a crackle, it's electric. I just love to be near them even. As for a tarot deck, they aren't for the beginner. Know your cards, learn your demons, maybe purchase the Ars Goetia to go with the deck, the book that comes with the cards doesn't tell you much. Know your archetypical forces. I love these cards."

Quality tarot, unclear guide deck

"Cards are absolutely gorgeous, good thickness, with a red foil edge. Cool lil sigils and such on the bottom and a unique text for each demon. While I understand tarot is meant to be interpretive, the guidebook does not give much clarity on the meanings you're meant to draw from the cards unfortunately. I find it less useful than my other deck even if I prefer the style!"

Travis McHenry is widely considered one of the foremost occultists of the modern era. He is the author of nearly a dozen tarot and oracle decks, including the Occult Tarot, the Angel Tarot and the Hieronymus Bosch Tarot. Travis studied anthropology and theatre in college before serving as an intelligence analyst in the United States Navy where he utilised his skill as a researcher to track terrorists. He brought this same tenacity to his investigation into the origin of the tarot, leading him into the tombs of ancient Egyptian nobles and rare book collections around the world. After living in Los Angeles for many years, Travis now divides his time between his hometown in rural Pennsylvania and São Paulo, Brazil.
