"This cookbook is gorgeous and colourful with gorgeous full page photos that really illustrate how the recipe will look when you make it. I love that the recipes are divided by seasons and main ingredients such as ""bean, lentil and tofu salads"", ""grain salads"" and ""pasta and potato salads"". There are helpful chapters that give info about the ingredients, purchasing tips, and omg a chapter that instructs how to make every single main recipe ahead (did she read my mind?!). I appreciate that there are indexes of recipes grouped under helpful headings like gluten-free, freezer-friendly, speedy, protein-packed and served warm. I love that the dressings and 'protein-toppers' are listed with page number on the main salads so I know I'll need to include them but only fully written out on their own page which keeps the recipe from being cluttered and wordy on the page, much easier to follow than some books I have tried cooking from. This book is packed with recipes you can see will be so full of flavour and satisfying, we are talking meal-sized salads here! I like looking up recipes online as much as the next person but these are so creative, I wouldn't have known where to begin with a google search for salads like these. The dessert chapter (thank you, Angela Liddon!) has treats ranging from quick and simple yet light and flavourful all the way to the most decadent company-worthy creations. I say don't hesitate, buy this book and eat delectable salads and desserts all year long."
