Sofie Nachtegael is a Belgian illustrator, teacher, storyteller, and daydreamer with a passion for books, yoga, hiking, and traveling. Her main sources of inspiration are undoubtedly children and nature. In her work, she finds it important to convey a certain atmosphere or sensibility, aided by composition and the use of color to take readers on a journey of discovery. Sofie loves to paint, but she also enjoys experimenting with other techniques, which she subtly combines with her painting style.
