SO GOOD!!

"I literally cannot wait for CrownTide to come out this book was so perfect and I need to know what happens next"

Milo (5/5)

Skyshade was a lovely book and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy. This series is packed with everything the readers could want. Love, secrets, power, adventure and so much more.

"What a book! This is book 3 in the Lightlark series. No spoilers, but I will say that this boon continues the story where book 2 left off and there is much to unpack with our characters! Every Alex Aster book she ends is a cliff hanger and this one is no different. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out."

Skyshade Review

"While I loved the first and second book in the series this one felt like there was so much more filler and it dragged a bit, I will still continue to read the next one as I'm already invested in the lightlark world and need to know how it ends lol"

Sky shade review

"*I can’t tell if I’m reviewing nightsbane or skyshade - this is my review for skyshade* That ending DEFINITELY makes up for the first half of the book. we finally got to see her as the badass, smart, heartless character she could’ve been the whole series. First half of the book I was actually really annoyed because all she would think about was her guy dilemma. “Oh I love grim, but he’s a monster” “oh I miss Oro, but I need to protect him, poor me” “grim is awful, but he’s so hot” like cooommmmme oonnnnnnnn! And I get she’s trying to save the world and stuff but why the HELL are you pretending to be a nightshade? Yeah you’re part nightshade. Good for you. That doesn’t change the fact that you’re a WILDLING RULER. Your marriage is the coming together of two rulers, not one court integrating the other. Like did grim ever wear flower for you?! And before anyone says “but he’s not wildling” no one f-ing knew she was nightshade but their close circle, so it wouldn’t have looked any different to the normal people. And back to the guy thing, she made the wrong choice everyday all day. You’re telling me she had a dilemma between who she should kill because Oro made more sense? Cuz if grim died she died?! Girl you could have easily asked Oro to bind your lives and killed grim. And since you’d take their power, you’d be either the ruler of nightshade or sunling. Well I’m pretty sure sunlings hate your guts right about now, not sure how they’d feel with you as their ruler. Nightshade can at least tolerate you. But honestly the best option would have been to take grims power, kill yourself, and send it to Oro. But no story there. And remlar did make a good point about nexus. AND didn’t she plan to take her people back to lightlark at some point because their power was strong there? Wanted to rebuild wild isle? How the hell you suppose to do that when you can’t leave nightshade huh? BUT! The ending was so good. Lark was definitely not a twist I saw coming, and it brought everyone together, which I had been waitttttingggg forrrr. And how she finally realized her flair was taking power. I figured that out in like book 2. She was so powerful and vicious it was perfect. And was finally willing to sacrifice herself! Like lark said “ people that don’t fear death are the most powerful” AMEN"

Birthday Gift Success!

"I bought this for a friend as a birthday gift because she became OBSESSED with this series! I love listening to her share her favourite parts (which was the whole book, really), basically read the book without reading it because of her. Highly Recommend the book! P. S. We both are Grim girlies, but Oro has our hearts as well (pun unintended)."

Love triangle overrated

"The third book of the series offers a deeper exploration of its characters and world, though some readers may find the extended love triangle and series length less satisfying."

Noemie (3/5)

Can't wait for the next book

"I'm not sure what those who gave this book had reviews were expecting. I'm rooting for her to choose Grim but I totally understood why she was conflicted during this book. Were they expecting her to forget Oro altogether? Anyway the plot moved along and i see why this was not able to be the last book. There is just too much left to wrap up the story. The end had me gasping. Why!!!! Can't wait for the next book."

Michelle (4/5)

Worst book I have ever read

"Book 1 and 2 were a vibe, albeit poorly written. I got the 3rd because I’m a sucker and wanted to complete the series. This should have been a trilogy but it has been ridiculously stretched to 4 as a blatant cash grab. The characters read as if they are angsty teenagers and the writing is easily the worst I have ever read. Do yourself a favour and stop reading at book 2."

My book, Skyshade

"It's in perfect condition and although its hardcover and weren't any paperbacks, that is because it is a new book so paperbacks haven't even been made."

Stunning Books From Alex Aster

"Yet I have not read these books, but they have stunning features such as covers and I have indeed read the first book, which was magical."
