Amazing installment to the series

"The second full-length novel works great as a sequel to Network Effect, addressing the issues Murderbot's been through while still having distinct new problems. It's an exciting, character-focused read with a well-developed plot. My personal highlight of the story is probably the trust between Murderbot and ART, mixed in, of course, with a lot of distinctive sarcasm from both. Murderbot's narrative voice and status as an unreliable narrator works great, making me engaged in the story while still taking care to read between the lines. Aside from a few minor nitpicks, I honestly have no complaints about this one."

"If you haven’t read the Murderbot Diaries yet, you are seriously missing out. Quick reads but so very, very good. This newest addition to the series definitely maintains the momentum of the prior books."

Murderbot Begins To Develop Emotions (maybe?) And Protect Their Crew

"This full length Murderbot novel carries on directly with the newer characters from the novella 'Fugitive Telemetry'. Murderbot seems to be slowly becoming more human in its thinking but still has the addiction to the video series ""The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon"" and enjoys having ART watch it with it. The crew has a real battle of wits with an organization that wants to turn the colonists on a not-completely-terraformed planet into indentured servants/slaves. It's up to SecUnit (Murderbot) and the university group looking for alien contamination to stop the nefarious plan. Murderbot not only tries to save the day but also sideloads their governor hacking software into other SecUnits. If you liked the previous volumes in the Murderbot Diaries, this will continue the ride. If you've not read the previous books and like sci-fi with some humour and sarcasm thrown in, star at the beginning with the novella ""All Systems Red"" and enjoy the ride."
