Are you kinder to others than you are to yourself?More than a thousand research studies show the benefits of being a supportive friend to yourself, especially in times of need. This science-based workbook offers a step-by-step approach to breaking free of harsh self-judgments and impossible standards in order to cultivate emotional well-being. In a convenient large-size format, the book is based on the authors' groundbreaking eight-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program, which has helped tens of thousands of people worldwide. Life changes
"Great workbook. I have been using it as instructed. There are links to audio. You do need time to complete the exercises and process what is being taught. This is not a book you want to rush."
— Diane (4/5)
Great place to start
"Highly recommend this book as a starting point on any healing journey. Learning to be more compassionate with yourself and others is so helpful when trying out other new skills (and not being perfect at them or getting the perfect response). Actually write in this book! Do the work. Slowly. Purposefully. You will see change."
— Nicole (5/5)
Healing Workbook
"I admire Kristin Neff and all her work on self compassion over the years, and this is why I trust her expertise to guide me in a workbook like this. This workbook is wonderful so far, and I feel like I'm being guided through and having a conversation with Neff and Germer themselves. A great resource for anyone who wants to increase their self compassion."
