Best book ever!

"One of my favorite books of all time. It’s about Henri Nouwen, Rembrandt and the story of the prodigal son. It’s a magical journey through this story in ways I’ve never heard described before."

A gift of a book that keeps on giving

"I buy this book over and over as a gift because it really is a gift. Nouwen writes beautifully and with such conviction. He asks us to examine our lives within the parable of the Prodigal Son overlapped with the beautiful Rembrandt painting. This book was the catalyst in sending me to Russia to see the original painting."
