Reviews

The coziness is wholesome

"I absolutely love this book! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a book that is clean and cute with an adorable cast that you’ll love."

A feel good book!

"If you’re an introvert you’ll love this book! I finished it in 24 hours I couldn’t put it down, I can’t wait to read more of her books! It almost gave the vibes of Pumpkin Spice Cafe but including sorcery and a whole different setting."

Parveer D. (5/5)

The Perfect Cozy Magical Read

"Amazing cozy read!! A great mix of light hearted, adventure, magic with a drop of romance. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series!!"

GrandmaAt35 (5/5)

Not My Jam

"I'm not much for cozy fantasy, and from what I've heard from other readers of this book it isn't a good representation of cozy fantasy in general. Either way, this book felt way longer than it was, the main character was not very likeable for most of the book, and the prose was repetitive and juvenile. This book reads like YA."

Absolutely Love!

"4. 5 Stars The Spellshop was chosen for my library in person bookclub and I literally could not be happier. I loved this book. At 100 pages I was like this will be a 5 star read, it did slip through to a 4. 5 but that’s still great. This was the coziest book I think I have ever read and I ate it up! It had all the things…. A librarian and who saved books that happened to be spell books that may have been forbidden but she DGAF! Caz the best talking plant and I wanted to be friends, and he’s funny af. Don’t even get me started about Meep! Plus all the cool creatures you can imagine. Plus our main characters makes jam! Like how friggin cute and it’s her front for selling spells. I could not get enough. Larran is fine, he’s really a nice dude just trying to make Kiela happy. There were some plot holes but I don’t even care because I loved it so much. And I do wish that Radane’s story stayed the initial way it was going, I didn’t feel like the second added anything to the story. I would have been happy without her side plot not gonna lie. I would recommend this to everyone and tell them they better like it or I’ll fight them."

The Spell Shop Book Review

"It is uncommon when I truly do not want to put a book down. Some books are good and I look forward to continue reading them. However, the Spell Shop, in both its comforting and unique storytelling found me reading on for as long as I could. Highly recommended"

Mark (5/5)

Sooooooo good

"This book really pulls you in and is so hard to put down."

Bookmom (4/5)

Something to snuggle up with

"Really beautiful book. Cozy fantasy with an intricate world."

Gina (5/5)

Light and cozy

"This was a fun read; cozy and a tiny bit of romance. Well-written."

Jenny (4/5)

Cosiest Fantasy

"The Spellshop is a truly heart warming cosy fantasy. The magic and creatures were written unlike anything I’ve read before, making this a special story. I can’t wait to share it with my loved ones. I’ve been describing it as a found family story, with themes including a sense of belonging and purpose. If you’re a green thumb (gardener) who believes in magic and loves libraries and cats, add this to your TBR."
