Adam Shoalts, PhD, is an adventurer, explorer, geographer, archaeologist, and the bestselling author of six books for grown-ups, including Vanished Beyond the Map, Where the Falcon Flies, and The Whisper on the Night Wind. His career has included crossing nearly four thousand kilometres of Canada’s Arctic alone and leading many expeditions for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
