An Ember in the Ashes

Megan (4/5)

I have loved this on every reread

"I've now read this book two or three times, and can confirm, it's great on every read. Dark, brilliant, fast-paced, and full of magic, myth, and memorable characters, this book will destroy you (in a good way), and you'll immediately want to read what's next."

Ameema (5/5)

When I first starting

"When I first starting reading this book I didn’t like it that much as I am not a big fan of fantasy books. I found it a bit confusing to keep track of the different groups and how they fit in with each other. There was a lot of violence and injustice in the story. As the story progressed however I did become curious to see what was going to happen to the main characters in the book and enjoyed the suspense of finding out how things would turn out in the end."

Janjoy (4/5)

Fun Read

"Great story and set up for main plot, I can’t wait to see how this goes"

Ashvene (5/5)

Timeless

"An Ember in the Ashes has been one of my favourite books since I was 14, and every time I reread it it somehow gets better. . When I purchased this new copy to annotate for a friend's birthday, I read the entire book in 2 days because I was unable to put it down."

Eliza (5/5)

Great read!

"I love this book so much!!! Great start to the whole series"

Zoe A. (5/5)

Amazing! Even for those who don’t read much Fantasy.

"I loved this book! I’ve never been a huge fantasy person, but I decided to try this one because All my rage, (also written by Sabaa Tahir) in one of my faves. It was totally worth the risk of a fantasy, and it was easy to get into and written beautifully. The characters seem well written and realistic. Definitely recommend!"
