Roger and Jeffery, along with Yarrich and Barrum, two of the Old Lords, make their way through a treacherous swamp towards their ever nearing goal of reaching the fabled Ashen Bower, where the Old Lords once had their thrones. Giant beasts and strange sights await them, and ancient secrets line every step they take towards their destination.
