Nothing is more beautiful than love, because when everything fits perfectly, it will change your entire world and when nothing "appears" to fit, it can change everyone''s world. This is the closest I can get in one sentence, to describing the beginning of me being a writer, the beginning of "Love Story"; I fell in love, but could not be with her. I tried to, but I could not do it. Being there, felt like I was giving away my soul piece by piece. I have subsequently come to understand that when we compromise ourselves by accepting something we know we don''t want, we are selling our miracles, we are selling our greatest gifts and our dreams and in exchange we receive an illusion; a vision of something that never happens. Me being a writer could have easily never happened and all it would have taken was loving someone so much, that I would be willing to give up my soul, my identity, my gifts to the world and all of my dreams and I even tried to, but this is not love. Walking away was more about love, while staying was all about fear. While walking away, I found a way to love her, that gave me back my heart and soul and along with it, my identity, my gifts to the world, my miracles and all of my dreams. Eventually, my way of loving her while walking away became my way of loving the world. ~~Love Story~~
