Spine size makes it hard to write
"I have about 5 years of my life written in one of these. Only downside is that the only comfortable time period to write in the book is when you're in the middle of it. This makes the book evenly spaced out on the table, being that it has such a large spine. I remember always having to shift positions because of this. I suffered a horrible wrist injury that does not allow my wrist very much movement anymore, and so unfortunate I physically cannot even attempt to write unless I want to use half of the page."
