Donyale Abe speaks, teaches, and writes about childbirth issues, striving to empower women everywhere. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in Ethnic Studies, she has served as past editor of the International Journal of Childbirth Education. Her passion for the field led her to develop a college degree program, Childbirth Health Care Studies. She is a certified Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Prenatal Yoga Instructor. She partners with the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) to train Childbirth Professionals around the world. Her simple pleasure is reading the Sunday newspaper from cover to cover sipping a hot cup of tea.
