Normally, a homicide victim doesn't draw too much attention these days. However, when the victim is a high-profile person, the crime looks like it was ripped straight out of a horror movie, and the killer keeps sending letters to the FBI, it draws nationwide attention. To make matters worse, the killer is sending details of the crime scene to the media as well as unknown skeletons from each of the victims' closets. Why is the killer doing this? How does the killer seem to stay one step ahead of the FBI? Can special agent Barnes and his team catch up to the killer on the streets of Chicago, or is the killer already among them?
