Psychiatrist and psychotherapist, he is founder (and scientific director) of the Third Centre for Cognitive Psychotherapy and of the Italian School of Clinical Cognitivism (SICC) in Rome. He is Lecturer at University of L'Aquila and at the School of Specialization in Cognitive Psychotherapy SPC and SICC, and in several schools of cognitive psychotherapy and Past-President of the Italian Society of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (SITCC) and he is Vice-President of Society for Psychotherapy Research-Italy (SPR-Italy). He has written with Dimaggio, Semerari, Nicolò and ProcacciPsychotherapy of Personality Disorders(Routledge, 2007) and with SemerariIl Narcisismo e i suoi Disturbi[The Narcissism and its Disorders] (Eclipsi /Erickson, 2017).
